I will heartily second the recommendation of The Stepsister Scheme, having obeyed the hypnotic commands of the Seanan and snagged a copy a couple of weeks ago, and have left a comment on the Powell's site. (I will slightly disagree with the Seanan's characterization of "romp", because while the book is definitely Xena-esque in its approach, there are layers therein that pure comedy doesn't usually reach. Nonetheless, highly recommended.)
