Lilly, when she was smaller -- much, much smaller -- used to sleep either on the pillow next to my head, or draped across my throat like a fuzzy scarf that would occasionally purr. This was adorable, except when it interfered with my ability to breathe. Cats do not stay small forever, and as Kate frequently reminds me, Lilly is essentially ( Read more... )

If you're looking for a kitten, and aren't set on a purebred, we have a couple foundlings that need homes. They are grey tabbies, and very cute.

Sadly, I really am set on my Siamese. I'm not much of a cat person, as it turns out; I'm too loud and move too fast and generally just upset them. Whereas Siamese, being essentially weird dogs in cat suits, are exactly my speed.

Nyssa continues ancient and creaky, and has started stalking me around the house.

Maybe she has decided that if she devours you she will be rejuvenated?

I recently suggested that Nyssa's fur and bones would eventually simply fall off, and the eventually she was going to have a cranky animated cat skeleton wandering around the house.

A friend of mine once woke up with a mouthful of kitten :)

She'd been asleep adn the the kitten had smooched her face... which had pushed open her sleep-relaxed jaw. Needless to say both of them were taken aback by that.

:D
