I remember a Maximum PC article describing running thumb drives through various torture tests.

A sidebar of the article was illustrated with 1)a picture of one of the hapless interns and 2)a diagram of a dog's digestive system. Thankfully, once you read the sidebar it was clearly labeled as a joke.
