When is a beast just a beast, just a beast,
And when is a beast just a man?

Answer me this, if you will, if you will;
Answer me this, if you will:
When is it proper to cure, yes to cure,
And when is it proper to kill?

Tell me the tale, if you dare, if you dare;
Tell me the tale, if you dare:
Of riddles my mother once asked -- how she asked!
And why you would call me unfair.
