There hasn't been much BPAL around lately.

So I wear a lot of BPAL, but I keep forgetting to do reviews, largely, I think, because space cadet cat is currently orbiting one of Jupiter's moons. The San Diego Comicon this year boasted a BPAL exclusive, however, and being me, I was forced to beg and plead for it to come to my house and have a party. Well, it did, and now I will rejoice. I know the feeling(s). I'm going to wait until mid-to-late September before I get any. But I can't wait to see what's on offer this year. My second BPAL Halloween!!!

Seriously, this is one of those blends where they basically go 'ooooooo flavor text ooooooo spooky wear the perfuuuuuuuuuume' and thus annoy the crap out of me, because there are notes I just can't wear.

Ah yes, the not-fun and not-joy of crazy skin chemistry simply destroying any hope of smelling like "x". I admit I have very limited experience of this to date because I fear trying on perfume, precisely because one experience of me attempting something involving roses = NO PLEASE GIVE ME BRILLO PAD QUICK TO GET THIS OFF AS OF RIGHT NOW. (And I'm a former farm kid who breathes deeply and satisfyingly, to the accompanying laughter of tolerant friends, when catching the far-off scent of manure distributed and drying on a just-planted field. So one can imagine how hideously offputting rose+me combination must have been.)

But your descriptions are so intriguing, perhaps I will try some BPAL stuff out. As long as I have the Comet (with Bleach) handy....

I would like BPAL, but they took a picture from the Internet of my snake (the one you see in my icon) and used it for one of their labels without permission. When asked WTF, they apologized and said it was an accident, and that I would be fairly compensated. Fast forward a year or so of being utterly ignored after that, no replies to my emails and not even a bottle of the damn product sent as a courtesy. So now I have "contact a lawyer to kick BPAL's ass" on my eventual to-do list when work slows down.

You definately make that scent sound awesome (on you). I'd like to try them sometime but my body does really interesting things to scents so, not soon.

On another happy note -- both packages of art arrived today - thanks

Great review! I have a decant coming and hope it smells on me like your description. Well, that was awkwardly worded. Must be past my bedtime.

Yeah, but I understood what you were getting at, so all is well. It really is a fabulous perfume. A lot like Snow White crossed with Ultraviolet and turned evil.
