A note about my reference shelf.

Jun 11, 2008 19:11

Getting to my copy of An Encyclopedia of Fairies required moving two My Little Ponies (one a UK exclusive), eight bottles of BPAL, a velociraptor, a small malachite penguin, a candy corn scented candle, and an orange and green striped plush zebra.

Clearly, I have finally organized these shelves in the proper manner.

silliness, self, reading, toys, book slut

Yup!

I have half a dozen 'guide books to the fae' from various authors and eras, but hers is one of my favorites.

Someone told me once that she was the mother of Isabel Briggs-Myers and worked with her on the Myers-Briggs personality test. I just spent a few minutes with Google, though, and it doesn't appear to be true. (Briggs and Briggs-Myers were almost the same age, and the latter's mother was Katherine C. )

Drat. It was a good story.
