I have to say I can't think of a single reason not to buy it. Unless it turned out you were fatally allergic to stuffed animals. Or it routinely comes to life at night and eats your other stuffed animals. Thought that would be rather impressive. So, nope! No good reason. :)

Here's a reason not to buy it: wouldn't it be much cooler to knit your very own giant squid hat? I made one for my sweetie; as he says, "All the other cultists are envious!"
