If you can pick up a little electronic planner, would that be an option? When I had a Palm a few years ago, the thing paid for itself by reminding me of doctor's appointments that, had I missed, I would have had to pay for anyways (in addition to paying for the rescheduled appointment). For work, I am now completely reliant on my Outlook calendar and its reminders -- to the point where I have told colleagues that, if they need to meet with me, they must send me an Outlook meeting, or I am guaranteed to miss it.
