Well, to begin with, I have my doctor's appointment this afternoon -- finally -- and will thus be starting the process of finding out exactly what's wrong with me. (Hint: we're praying for the phrases 'nothing major' and easily corrected'. Unlikely, yes, but we're allowed to ask the universe for ponies once in a while.) I mentioned on another thread that we have two Siamese-mix cats -- one (Vir, pictured) with the Siamese brain and one (Satin, solid white) with the Siamese banshee voice. It's kind of like the transporter duplication in "The Enemy Within", but with two different evil halves.

stevemb forgot to mention that we just saw Jonathan Coulton not quite 2 weeks ago in our area. It is apparently now traditional to pelt him with assorted stuffed animals with requests attached to them, especially plush dinosaurs. Got any surplus ones? ;-)

Methinks someone needs to start doing business outside his concerts selling appropriate stuffed creatures. And not just animals, either... what's wrong with a nice plush zombie?

Oh, rock on! Great American Music Hall is a beautiful venue... if I could teleport, I'd seriously come join y'all on Friday.
