There's a traveling carnival that stops in Ann Arbor every July 4th weekend. Since the 4th is a Wednesday this year, I don't know whether it'll be the weekend before or after. My tradition is to stop by for, at minimum, an elephant ear, a fresh-squeezed lemonade, and a ride on the Tilt-A-Whirl.
