Neptune, or, The Tragedy of Veronica, Daughter of Mars, Epilogue.

[The curtain rises on an empty stage, with the five heraldic banners of the city still hanging overhead -- the green and gold sailing ship of NEPTUNE, the blue castle of KANE, the copper candle of MARS, the silver hammer of ECHOLLS, the red quill of HEARST. VERONICA MARS enters left, hands empty at her sides, and walks to center stage, where she ( Read more... )

Sigh. You're making me sad, Seanan!!!

LILLY:
What, now I start in death, and end in dark?
Gah. One line and you've captured her.

I love it. It seems fitting too since your VM Shakespeare is one of my first memories of you.

I do not mean to make you sad! But...yeah. I started my love of this show with Shakespeare, and with Lilly Kane.

Give o'er the play.

Lights.

Can I thump you with my stuffed unicorn? Seriously. You just made me cry over a television show that I never watched.

There's also the distance. I imagine he'd lose a fair bit of his momentum before getting to CA.

I really like your Shakespeare stuff.

Today has been very warm, but this just sent a shiver down my spine.
Absolutely lovely.
Oddly though, this after noon at work I was mentally watching Much Ado bing played by the VM cast (Veronica as Beatrice and Logan as Benedick, of course). Maybe Shakespeare is in the air!

And as lights dim, and players all depart
We groundlings, who have witnessed every scene
Depart as well, and hold this truth to heart
The pain of loss, in time, will grow less keen
Mourn not for fiction? I'll not be so cold
For art with wit and passion's far too rare
We know that all the stories still untold
Would surely have outclassed more common fare
Still, wish the actors and creators well
Enrico, Kristen, Jason, Percy, Rob
They've other roles to play and tales to tell
All for the benefit of us, the mob
But hold to hope, for in some by and by
There's still a chance we'll see "Mars: FBI"

Have I mentioned that you inspire me sometimes? :)
