Now someone, please talk me out of the orange and green quilt that I've been coveting at Target, as it's almost ComiCon and I won't need a heavy blanket 'til September at the earliest.

Oh, I'm sorry, I'm not going to do that. In fact, I'm going to tell you about the lightweight orange silk comforter I got for 75% off at Cost Plus. See this link? It's shown just to the right of the fake page crease, in a raspberry color. But it comes in orange and I have one now on the retro green sheets of my bed and it makes me so happy.

Orange. Silk. Summer. Comforter. 75% off, down to a reasonable price ($40ish, I think).

I'm sorry. These things, sometimes they happen.

You have the awesome pumpkin sheets, right?

Those can tide you over till September.

And Target will still have the quilt then.

I am sure that they will not sell out of orange and green quilts (not everyone has your sense of style). At the end of August they will run a "back to school sale" when you will get a much better price.

You'll be able to find one on ebay for much cheaper when you actually need it, so don't worry!
