damn it the Euro is almost at 142 to the dollar, that means it takes 150 or more to buy one Euro for a tourist, no way Europe is affordable at that exchange rate. I was at the post office yesterday and there was this guy in line with a huge blue green Macaw parrot on his shoulder, I decided to buy some stamps as an excuse to stand in line behind the bird. Amazing animal, I wish I had the resources and time to have a pet like that. A Macaw, 3 Snow Leopards and a Border Collie and I think I'd be satisfied ( Read more... ) -

seattle air was messy looking today
Snoqualmie pass is nicely pretty right now, There is a huge sky of low clouds flowing over from from the east, they swirl and shine cresting the ridge. Then the fog disappears all around into sunny skies. Many amazingly snow frosted trees and some blue glowing snow fields, a weird shade of blue, suggestive of astronomical colors seen in the vacum ( Read more... )
