How the hell can I play a grouchy old demon with a bunch of annoying, angsty teenagers, anyway?
Welcome to my world of FFIRC roleplaying, circa 9th grade. :-D Antareus and Foul were both pretty mean dudes, and no one seemed to like it much... except Kimi's boyfriend I guess, who ended up being my crazy kefka-esque sidekick.
BTW - mods are people too. Don't let them judge your style. If you only want to RP with a few people, so be it. You can't whore yourself out to EVERYONE for RP... if your character is grumpy and mean, that's just his character. If they can't handle it or approach him properly, that means THEY are uncreative, not you. Personally, RPs are boring without the bad guys.
remember too that 'people' doesn't always mean 'more than one people'. When someone says 'people notice' you have to always assume they mean "I notice" and are just attempting to hide behind a false mask of anonymity. (a RPer hiding behind anonymity? fancy that

Ahahahaha, I hardly ever saw your IRC character, I think XD I remember him, but I don't think my char was often in the room when he was. But that was waaaaaay before I'd figured out how to play evilishness, myself ^^ I was still little-miss-goody.
Y'know the funny thing? They actually asked for more evil in their game. That's one reason I apped a demon. They also asked for more older folks. Well, damn, my demon's a freaking elder. With the "damn kids! in my day, we did everything better!" attitude and everything. And then... I have trouble getting play for him beyond a certain few character types because most everyone is focusing on their teenager characters :: laughs :: I suck at teenagers XD Older folks are so much more fun

I think you're touching on the same thing that pissed Kat the hell off. The 'over and over again' thing where they're just not listening, you know?
Anyways, I can't believe that first they smack you down so you don't make another character, and then they smack you down because you're not getting out enough! Jaysus, that's like... very hypocritical. Can't she come to the consensus that, "wow, this player is very active. Let's accede to her wishes to make another character." instead of forcing you to try'n plop one into ever increasing scenes with random people? 'X met Y' is only fun for so long, right?
Anyhow, here's the way I'm thinking... you and Bird and Mike-mun have some rad plottage going. Why don't you three get together and plot out the next few days, or as far as you can all get along without outside stimulus. Then, do all of your playing at once, and try to cram it into one, big scene. >:D Intersperse literally with meetings of angels and other demons and so on, so it looks like you're 'open to playing with more people'

Oh, I don't feel bad about them. I love my plot =D And it's sticking around, no matter what they say-- what makes it worse was Taffy going "we like plot, plot is shiny! keep your plot!" and then saying things to the effect of "but your plot is filling up your days so you can't do other stuff!" which is, y'know, kind of mixed messages. So now my whole "okay, must set up actual plot arc to get Hothrem fed!" thing feels like it ought to be... uh, postponed XD
