So you are going to be in Italy... You are not visiting Milan, my hometown, but I can still give you a word of advice:
Venice: the channels (canals ??) may be smelly in summer, don't get too upset. gondola rides are crazily expensive.
Rome: OMG so chaotic! try not to eat in restaurant clode to the main attraction, they tend to rip off turists. Vatican Museum = one of the best in the world.
Pisa and Tuscany in general: all worth seeing. People are kind of weird, though.
The weather is going to be oppressively hot, excluding a miracle.
As for your visit to Fragonard: I highly recommend the Lait Parfumé pour le corps "cerisier en fleurs". My favourite, ;D
