Day 1 in the UK. London - Rochester - Brands Hatch

We arrived at Heathrow without any problems, it was a long flight and went OK. The entertainment and the food were nowhere near Qantas standards though, which surprised me. The aircraft was showing its age. We got in at 5am.

Well, it's now Sunday evening, the first of July. I'm in the Qantas club in Singapore, and thought to rest my tired feet writing a few notes about yesterday and today.

The flight was good, I watched "Zodiac" and "Kenny" - couldn't get two more opposite movies! Did a little bit of study...

Well, we've left home and are now ensconsed in the Qantas Club at Adelaide airport waiting to get underway. Kids have left on their plane, and the reality is starting to kick in.

30 Jun - Dep Adl for Singapore, overnight, then to london.
10 days or so around the UK, self-drive, B&B.
