Sherlock crossover - Martin works for Sherlock during The Great Hiatus

I'm cross-posting this from sherlockbbc_fic.
Martin finally becomes an excellent, self-sufficent pilot when he gets lots of experience as Sherlock's private charter pilot while Sherlock flies all over the world pursuing Moriarty's henchman during the Hiatus. (And if you want to make them long-lost brothers or cousins go right ahead. Kind of seems like Martin being a trustworthy relative might be the only way he could get the job in the first place!)
Would love some of these highlights:
Martin gleefully teaching an amused Sherlock some basic flying skills.
Martin talking Sherlock through some of his dark moods when Sherlock is stressed out and missing John.
Martin getting a BAMF moment and saving Sherlock from a baddie.

Sherlock was six when he was introduced to his 'new' little brother, Martin. Sherlock would not have believed that Martin was his brother except he looked exactly like Sherlock when Sherlock was younger. Other than his hair of course. Sherlock had his mother's dark hair while Martin's hair was redder than even Mycroft's

I'm one of those waiting for it to be finished before reading, so no comments on content.
Strictly technically speaking, it would help the spreadsheet elves if all parts beginning with the second were replies to your first part, rather than replies to the original prompt. This is what "nesting your fills" means.

I have no idea where this is going. This is not beta'd and if you're a grammar nazi, reading this might drive you nuts because tenses is my weakest point and I'm pretty sure this thing is going back and forth between tenses. Especially since it's been written in the middle of the night with little sleep. If inconsistent tenses bothers you, I suggest you wait until I finish it, have it beta'd and de-anon it. Fair warning

When Martin was four, he flew in an aeroplane for the first time. All the stewardess were nice to him and even let him visit the flight deck where the pilots showed him how it all worked. When all the buttons lit up, Martin wanted to be an aeroplane more than anything else in the world

"What do you mean dead? How could you be dead? You're here! You can't be here if you're dead!" Martin would've been yelling if not for fear of waking up the rest of the house

No normal child could possibly work out the complexities of the relationships that Martin Aldrich Holmes-Crieff has with his families. Which is why Martin was nine before he managed to sort it all out in his own head

Martin wasn't really surprise to find Mycroft in the car waiting for them and he couldn't help rolling his eyes at the questioning look Mycroft gave him

Mummy and Father didn't find out about Martin until Martin was four. When Mycroft first saw Martin, he was surprised at how much he looked like Sherlock at the same age, except for the red wavy curls. That was the only reason Mycroft could think of which account for his immediate protective instinct towards Martin

Loving this so far, and the relationships between the Holmes brothers is lovely. Though I feel a little sorry for the rest of MJN, I can't help but think they'r really going to miss their Skipper, and maybe be a little hurt he's buggered off to start his own (rival) charter company without even stopping by to tell them of his good fortune in person. I'd love to know what would happen when their paths next cross.
