I will read it later today but I need to sleep now and I know it would take me a while to read and reply to all of that.

So when I have some free time, you know, an hour or so I will sit down with a milo or delicious molotov cocktail and read your epic post of U2-ness.

Heh, thanks for the use of wibble. Greatly appreciated.

No problem, love. *bows*

Shall I except a long, rambly comment in my box later this evening then? ;)

Just milo for you? Aren't you much of a coffee person? ;P

Thankee, m'dahlin'! Thanks for trawling through all of that...geez, I really do think this was even longer than Annie's Twickenham report. And that was long! I just thought I'd alert you to it...cos you love U2. ;) And you sound like you need cheering up.

We need some release, release, release, we need LOVE AND CHEESE! Ahem XD

HAHAHAHAHA!

"Cheeeeeese....get up off your kness....cheeeeeese...."

"Where The Cheese Has No Name."

Aaaaaaand....I can't think of any more!

And how hot does Bono look in that WOWY picture?! That man needs to ditch the shades permentantly!

Uh-huh. *snogs the picture* He looks so adorably melancholy, don't you think?

Well, he's actually going back to the 70's. "Bitterweet Symphony" actually sampled the orchestral tracks of the Rolling Stone's "The Last Time." Good fun in any case.

I'd like to see Kanye live.

Mexicans didn't invent the wave. . .

I like "Walk On". . .

That's so cute. The audience couldn't do it so he got the most adorable little girl to do it. Awesome.

Southern Cross. Awesome.

Green Day is good. The version with Green Day is great, but the video is really cheesy.

At here was me thinking us U2 fans were a bunch of peace-lovin’ hippies.
You have to go see Phish for that.

How much is a Auckland-Wellington flight? That's a very short distance.

I listened to all of Let It Be by The Replacements and half of their album Pleased to Meet Me while I was reading this.

It sound like it was splendid. The "Bad/40/Sunday Bloody Sunday" sounds like it was amazing. I really wish I could have seen that. That and of course "One Tree Hill." Yes, a very rocking concert indeed. Now I really want to see Kanye.

*nods* True. I'm not much of a Stones fan, I must confess. I could be persuaded though...

He *is* a good performer...and his orchestra freakin' owned! And the crowd response was A LOT more enthusiastic than what it had been in Australia, by the sounds of things.

His songs are fun. I'm particularly fond of Jesus Walks.

Mexicans didn't invent the wave. . .

Oh yeah? :P

I like "Walk On". . .

It's growing on me. :P

She was so sweet! :) There's a story for the grand-kids!

Green Day is good. The version with Green Day is great, but the video is really cheesy.

Green Day are good musicians, but their music does nothing for me. I love "Good Riddance", and that's about it. Musically, U2 kick their arse all over the show...

You have to go see Phish for that.

Phish?

I think Canadian hockey fans invented the wave.

It's a brilliant song with a brilliant video.

Phish, they're. . .Phish.

How long is a bud ride from Wellington to Auckland?

The Replacements were key figures in the Minneapolis Hardcore underground. They became the darlings of critics and college radio, and were the unacknowledged saviors of rock and roll. Here is their classic video for "Bastards of Young."

I'm sure that they'll be back in less than 13 years.

Honey, I got to hand it to you,

that was one massive, lengthy live-journal entry. Well done. You impress me. I'm sure I could ramble for quite a while but even if I had a passion as huge as your's is for U2, I wouldn't be able to match...HANG ON my PHONE just buzzed. I wonder who that could be! *checks phone*

*replies text message*

Right Erin, would you like me to see you in town shortly? I'm on my wayyyyyy...

*giggle giggle* see ya
