I've read and own all the "Alice" books by phyllis reynolds naylor. I know they're silly and teenage but the way she's written that series really, really is awesome. It still is relavant and realistic. LOL I am a nerd for Alice and I will totally admit to it by jury. :P
Anastasia Krupnik is also one of my series of books I always adored haha.
My child hood was banned I love it! I also feel like a nerd for having read most of those books already.

As of December 1, 2006, Where's Waldo? has been banned in several states throughout the USA. It appeared on the American Library Association's list of the 100 most frequently banned and/or challenged books in the time frame of 1990-2000. This was due to an exposed woman in the beach scene, which has been altered for later editions
