Body and Mind

This year, for my body, I'm thinking about joining Curves again. There is a location in downtown Oakland that is not too far from my house. I think this will be good for me. I want to feel more able-bodied.

I am also wanting to feel more able-minded this year. I am thinking of finding a list of the most frequently banned books in America (possibly ( Read more... )

Oooh

I've read and own all the "Alice" books by phyllis reynolds naylor. I know they're silly and teenage but the way she's written that series really, really is awesome. It still is relavant and realistic. LOL I am a nerd for Alice and I will totally admit to it by jury. :P

Anastasia Krupnik is also one of my series of books I always adored haha.

My child hood was banned I love it! I also feel like a nerd for having read most of those books already.

I miss you lady it's been wayyyyyy too long!

Yeah, what the heck is so risque about searching for striped search nerd dude? And lay off Krupnik and Zindel, my censor-type friends.

I'd be down for group-read too.

According to rumor cited on this site it was all about some topless sunbathers in waldo pictures or something. BOOBIES!

Answers.com has this to say on the subject:
As of December 1, 2006, Where's Waldo? has been banned in several states throughout the USA. It appeared on the American Library Association's list of the 100 most frequently banned and/or challenged books in the time frame of 1990-2000. This was due to an exposed woman in the beach scene, which has been altered for later editions
