I am not here, sadly.

But this just came up on Google alerts, so I had to share it.

Apparently Showcase is trying to find advertising partners for Shattered. Which is a good thing, I guess. But. If they take the time to make a power point presentation, ( could they maybe invest more that 5 minutes? )

shattered, ckr, pictures

Oh my! Really, the headshot from Lucid? C'mon! Dennys just did an awesome photoshoot! Use one of those!

How come this didn't show up in my google alerts? *feels left out*

headshot from Lucid?
Well, it's the first one that a Google image search for Callum Keith Rennie gives you. SO IT MUST BE RIGHT.

I don't know? And I can't check anymore if it was óne for CKR or for Shattered. Sorry!

I think I have every possible combo of Shattered + CKR + production companies names in my google alerts. I guess google just saw fit not to notify me about this. :-(

You are so right. They should assign this to some of his fans, they could do a better job than this. And seriously: The chosen picture doesn't do him justice at all.

I am not a fan of that picture either! I don't understand why it shows up first when you image-Google Callum. And for quite a while now too. Hmpf.
And yeah, I think someone took four to five minutes out of his day to do that. (And I bet you something that that was a guy.)

Oh, AND. Did you see that they used the wrong picture AND managed to distort it so it looks wider? *shakes head*

Really, they couldn't have made this any less appealing if they tried. But at least a date: spring 2010! *prays for January*

You're not here? Boo.

I guess it's from guys for guys, this business of product placement? In this case at least? So they don't really care? Then again "Out newest BIG BOLD Series" sounds more like it was targeted at teenagers. I really don't know. It's very strange.

*soon to be back, I hope?*

(Well, I couldn't say that I did it for YOU, but, yes. I was. *g*)

Re P.S. I really hope that's meant, like, excluding work? Then it almost makes sense. In a way. In a, like, dial-up only way at least.

So, there are more Showcase viewers who used video via cell last month than Showcase viewers who bought a laptop or a PC last year, um? Yeah, impressive. I guess. I don't have any SUV to promote anyway.

Talking about using the first picture that Google image search spits out, you are absolutely right, just really, it's the first two pictures

And yes, how much I like the Lucid pic, talk about lameness. They wanted to put in a recognizable face, maybe? Why not Leoben while they were at it? Or maybe that's Kyle Loggins before all the drama hit him, when he still went under the name Mortensen?

Never mind. What month spring begins next year?

And really, what do they need all those laptops for if they don't go on the internet? *shakes head* (And really, video via cell phone? I didn't know people actually did that. Seems tacky to me. Maybe that's just me though.)

it's the first two pictures
Ha! That's awesome. (How lame is that? I mean, really?)

Exactly. Leoben would have been a much better choice. And it's not like there aren't tons of pictures around of him. Even some without white paint if necessary.

And March, I hope? (Doesn't matter too much though, they start filming in the ten days, there HAVE to be interviews and stuff.)
