HEE! Japan=very special. ♥

the very presence of minus ions is widely believed to reduce stress and bring about positive feelings of well-being

Welll. I guess believing in it is the important part? As long as it works... hopefully it doesn't do any harm. /c\

...so. How IS your new minus-ion curling iron? *g*

*runs*

Why thank you for asking! My hair is all beautiful and minus-ion-y.

Clearly the reason the depression and suicide rate here is so high is that there are too many positive ions. Damn you, positive ions!

He is so pretty, stupid necklace and questionable jacket and all. &hearts I wish his spot in the interview had been longer. There's a whole reel of tape we're not seeing, there!

I want to know what the fuck a "minus-ion" is, exactly. Metal with a negative valency? Electrons? Must have missed that day in chem. *rolls eyes*

I KNOW. It's just unfair! *sulks*

And, uh, I guess a minus-ion is a molecule or atom with an extra electron? Like, a negative ion? No? But what do I know? Maybe they mean something else entirely? Hm.

omg, I am actually curious now. /c\

I think they're trying for negative ion, like a nice halogen or something (hah), but they can't actually say that because then they'd probably have to back up the claim with, like, science. So they made some shit up. The food and cosmetics industry does it all the time.
