I am so sore like you wouldn't believe, and I like it.
I've been playing competitive league paintball for the last couple of years, with a few other cops and agents -- our team captain is a sergeant in the Metro Police, and there are some Secret Service guys and a few others. Saturday afternoons we go out and play a few matches. Right now we're second in the league, only one back in the loss column.
It struck me as kinda ironic, considering I spend my day job trying to avoid shooting people and running around, but. It's fun. So I wondered...anybody else around here big into sports? Why do we do these things and not like, sit around knitting or something?
(Although, I have to warn you, anyone makes a snide comment about my Orioles, and I'm gonna have to fire a couple paintballs at you.)
