Springboard #19: Mellowing out

Well, it used t' be with a beer (or somethin' stiffer) but that's not the case anymore. I dunno, usually by the time I get home I'm calmer than I was at the office. Neo (that's my ferret [Yes, I named him after the Matrix character]) tends t' know when I'm on edge, so he keeps me entertained the minute I walk in the door when I'm particularly on edge. If not, a couple of hours on the computer, be it working or just on a game or something, my head's pretty clear by the end of the day. For the most part though, I try to keep my police work at work along with the rest of the emotions that come with it. I get caught up with the cases enough as it is. I don't need t' bring it home with me.
