If you're done ranting, I hope you're interested in the other side of things, because I know I am. I need to know more about Sylar and Prefect, and I need to know why Prefect picked you over Sylar - because as sorry as I am for potentially setting Prefect back, I think plenty of damage was done to Sylar before I ever came aboard.
Sylar had already stopped himself by the time you came in. He and I have a deal about who he uses his powers against, and except for the fight with Prefect - which was the result of a flood - he's kept his end. If you have any idea how much of an accomplishment that was, you wouldn't be yelling at me like it'll make everything better.

You want to know why Prefect, who I've looked after and tried to keep from harm, picked me over the bloke who tried to drive him to suicide? Really? I don't know what kind of crap your inmate's been throwing at you, but it sounds like a deluded version of events.
Funny, seeing as you weren't even there, so you've only got his word that he's stopped himself. When I came in, he was holding a sharp object and Prefect was on the floor, bleeding, so don't you DARE minimise what happened to him just because your inmate managed to show JUST enough restraint to back off after I'd pulled a GUN on him!
And, by the way? It wasn't the result of the flood. The flood had ended when the fight started. And if you're not gonna punish him for this because, oh, wow, he didn't KILL my inmate, just beat him around some with those powers of his, then forget it, I'm going to the other wardens about this NOW. I will not ( ... )

Why do you think I'm asking you? I want the whole story, not just how Sylar sees it. I'm not minimizing what happened to Prefect at all; I'm sorry it happened, but there isn't anything I can do to change that. He's alive, he'll heal, and meanwhile my inmate is freaking out about it. Things aren't always black and white and simple - and now I can take his word that he stopped, or your word that you had to force him off.
The Admiral must pair one warden with one inmate for a reason, but you can't ignore the other inmates if you're going to help yours. Now I'd like to know what happened with Prefect and Sylar, but if you'd rather go and get a bunch of other wardens to go over my head - and ruin what progress I've made with my inmate - go ahead. The hypocrisy should be interesting.

[BLAHBLAHBLAH insert all the stuff I/Catherine told you about in AIM about the earlier stuff and the latest stuff. AKA THE TRUTH, LOLOL.]
What progress? What he did to Prefect was the same shit he tried to pull on me when I confronted him over a year ago. Don't even try to make it sound like I'm a hypocrite for trying to make sure he doesn't do it to anybody else. At least I'm trying to come up with a way to protect the others here, instead of sitting on my hands and putting others in danger for the sake of a great experiment.
