Oh no! So sorry the American pathogens proved unfriendly. It’s awful to be sick while traveling, as well as when you have stuff you have to get done.

So sorry to read that you picked up covid. But I imagine staying in a hostel, your chances of getting it were higher than usual. I just got back from Phoenix, so worried about it some; the plane rides, going out more than I do at home, meeting up with people. I seemed to have lucked out, though.
