Oh no.
It is funny, we have difficulties finding cover, too. Since the last holidays. And the summer holidays are coming, and it usually gets worse during these weeks.

Sounds like you may have to put out an announcement saying that while you get that people want to make use of greater freedoms, if volunteers don't commit then some of the project arrangements will have to be rethought.
