The more I think about it too, the less representative this is if I stick to what I've got around to posting on A03... A03 ≠ My Fandom Writing.

99 - ha, I need to get another one up there, don't I? *g*
Wow, I l knew you'd written a lot, but I didn't know it was that many! And, yes, another one is in order. *g*
10) How many megafandoms (over 50,000 stories posted for the fandom at AO3)?
None - I can't even imagine what those fandoms are...
Yeah, I wondered about that, too. Twilight, maybe? Though if you count all its incarnations, and the stories in every archive and zine, Star Trek might be one of them.

Counting drabbles, according to my own list on my lj I've written 197 - but someone else told me they have over 200 of my stories, so I've clearly missed a few from my own list! *g*

Yes, Twilight's probably one - and I wondered about Sherlock too. And Harry Potter. There's probably loads now that fandom is globally-internet-based! I was surprised that Pros didn't have more stories actually, than my rough count suggests, but then it takes alot longer to spread news about things via pen and paper than via a quick google!

I was far too lazy to go and look up numbers (plus feeling guilty, because I'm just entirely distractable from work today...), so thanks!

People always say this, but it's not true. I had no interest in sex as either a child or a teenager, and I was uncomfortable with depictions of it. I was quite happy to follow posted signs.

Well, the MCU is the fandom that ate Cincinnati. There are plenty of others that have reached well over 50,000 fics on AO3, though.
Lots and lots and lots...!
Save the drabbles!

I apparently have over 100 more fics and drabbles that I haven't posted to A03 yet...!

Yes, "what teen is not going to think they're mature" was both a generalised and vague phrase. It didn't necessarily refer just to the idea of wanting to read fic with sex or "mature" themes in it, but also there are of course teenagers who don't feel ready/interested etc., so I should have said "there probably aren't many..." which I do think is true.

Of course, that is all dependent on what tags a person used so that could be wonky as well.

But thanks! *g*

Exactly and incontrovertibly so! ::nods sagely::
From 99 to 100 sounds like a deed to be encouraged, go on do - you absolutely should! :-) Or even ... do you think you might ever put your other stuff up on AO3 too, just for the security of the archive? (of course no archive is truly forever, I suppose, but with the resources it now has and the range of people involved I imagine that AO3 is about as stable as anything these days and more so than most).
Has/ve any particular one(s) of those WIPs been calling to you lately ... ? *g* (now I can't find that pic of Doyle looking sultry (yes, I know that doesn't narrow it down much *g*) with a sort of electric green cast, maybe it was by cloudless???? argh how annoying - anyway I mean that pic you wrote some ideas around ... and then there's wartime aviators, and age-of-sail tall ships, and ... happy thoughts!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!)

Oh I will - I'm mid-archiving, not stopped-cos-that's-all-I'm-going-to-do. *g* My original plan was just to archive one at a time, because it bugged me when everyone archived all their fic at once, and my lj was crowded out with those fics from the feed, but of course that relies on me getting around to archiving them regularly. *g*
I'm not convinced A03 is any more stable than any other website/platform on the internet, but I do generally believe that the more places we archive our fics, the longer they might live for people to discover one day... so even though I much prefer our dedicated Pros archives, like ProsLib, I'll archive to A03 too...
Has/ve any particular one(s) of those WIPs been calling to you lately ... ?Oh, they're all calling me - although actually the Age of Sail one has been nudging at me most, recently. I guess I've been thinking about my long-lost Phd... :( I should make it worthwhile by writing that fic, shouldn't I...? *g* And I haven ( ... )
