I could have done with a week off in between, I really could - I hoped I'd have that actually, but Job 2 overran into it. Oh well... So! Today! It's Monday! And it's a new start to Job 1, so let's see if I can manage to do it well - the whole point of deciding to take on Job 1 in the first place was to make it work for me, rather than the other

Good luck with your job search, I hope you find something fantastic with people who appreciate you! (What's your field, if you don't mind me asking - sheer nosiness, feel free to ignore the question! *g*)

I'm sorry you didn't get your week off... but you do know what they say about a change, don't you :-)
Good for you, getting out and going for a walk just for the sake of it. Somehow I can never muster the motivation to do that without an actual destination.

I'm definitely fresher for Job 1 than I was when I started Job 2 - just hope it lasts as long as a proper rest might have. And maybe if the buggers'll pay me, I can plan a proper rest!
I'm with you about walking for the sake of it - I usually need a destination too. I find I can do the circular hack-track okay though, maybe because the destination is close by me the whole time! *g*

I wanted to come to the virtual office, too, and work on Job 2, but I keep doing other stuff to avoid it, darn it....
I just had a row with the little Maus because of her homework for school. She is in such a bad mood and I had to leave the room. Better than yelling at her anyway.
All the best with Job 1!

The wee garden's looking quite green now - I've planted some more things out, and everything's growing! I planted out the borages, and they're growing too - but they were attacked by wee black aphids, so I had to try and get rid of them (as organically as possible) and although one has perked up and is looking green and happy again, the other two are looking a bit sorry for themselves - but I'm hopeful!
Eep for bad-mood Little Maus - I hope she feels better soon (and you do too...) and eep for avoiding virtual office work... I'm just about to delay the next part of mine by nipping out to the shop, and then lunch... *g* But I must not delay too much! I must finish work by 6pm today, if I'm a good virtual-officer!

It's lovely to have you just up the road a few dozen miles, and having the same seasons and weather as I am... though today my bit of Dorset is swaddled in a glorious sea mist worthy of ghosts, howling hounds and echoing ship bells... but isn't it fabulous living out in the country? I love watching the seasons doing their thing. Your garden is doing really well - I love the pots half sunk in the gravel. So pretty.
