A Cornish Guide to a Girl on Holiday - Day One

And I'm awaaaaaaay! I finished my work last night, slept in this morning, had a leisurely getting-myself-sorted-out kind of morning, including phoning my mum who's currently a very-happy-grandma-for-the-second-time. It only took me three hours to drive down too - that's practically a day trip, that is... but I have three nights around Cornwall -

The pics can't help but be pretty, cos it's so pretty here! And I nearly forgot that I was spoilering you for your holiday! *g* Oh, it'll be lovely for you - and I bet it won't rain! It's raining this morning - rats - though it's supposed to clear a bit in a few hours, so I'll try and do dry things until then. Trouble is, there's a stone circle nearby that I want to see...

OK, feeling very strange now as I grew up where you are now. Not in the YHA *g* but on the estate across the A30. The A30 wasn't there when I was a kid (it ran through the town) so Rose Hill, which is the other side of the woods where you are, is where I played. I also spent rather a lot of time in Mousehole so you photos are making me feel rather homesick!
