And now I get it! Every time I read posts like that I have a bit of feeling looking out of the window and seeing a brass band :)) Wonderful photographs and with a beautiful kind of spring on them while it was snowing here again!

Oh and the books! And I see there is this sticker on the Case of Possession, it means that there is the Case of Spirits in there? I was wondering if it was published anywhere or not...

Yes! Case of Spirits is included with Case of Possession! Sadly the other (much shorter) stories aren't in any of the paperbacks - I really wished Feast of Stephen was going to be included, but it wasn't... Oh well! I'm just so very happy to have the books! *g*

Lovely photos! I haven't been to London since last December and I've got withdrawal symptoms!

We were staying in Bloomsbury on our last visit too - it's a lovely part of London, I'm very fond of it. There's some wonderful little streets hidden away around there if you go exploring, I always seem to discover something new.

The Charm of Magpies books are on my shopping list! I've got them on my Kindle (apart from Jackdaw) and I really enjoyed reading them, but it's not the same as having the actual physical books, is it? I do need to get those paperbacks... *g*

I do miss being able to nip down to London, I must admit - though I didn't do it as often as I should have (I suppose we never do, do we...) I seem to end up in Bloomsbury alot - well, I suppose Job 2 is based around there and has been for years, so the Brit Mus feels like familiar stomping ground these days - except yes, there are still so many streets and directions to explore. I'm still working out some of the big ones, too!

It's so nice to have the Charm of Magpies books in paperback! But - you've not read Jackdaw yet? I never thought I'd say this, because I adore the other three+ books beyond sense, but I almost like Jackdaw best of all...

Have you come across Woburn Walk yet? We stumbled across it last December, and it was completely new to us. It's just at the Euston Road end of Woburn Place, and it's a magical little street. It wouldn't be out of place in a Crane and Day novel! *g*

Oh, I can't think of Woburn Walk offhand, but it definitely looks pretty, and somewhere that I should go and find! *g* I'm back in... oh, April and June (!) so I shall have to see if I can track it down! Oh, and I can just see Stephen and Lucien strolling home along it one night - yes! Another reason to go and find it... *g*

I didn't realise Jackdaw was connected to the Magpies books. (yes, you have another convert - I've just devoured the first two, and only just tonight found Feast of Stephen for kobo for free. I have the three plus Spirits - you mentioned other short stories? Would you be so kind as to point me in their general direction?
I want these in paperback, too. Added to the list!

Yeay Magpie converts! That makes me so happy... *g* I made a list here of all the Charm of Magpie stories - there are two more free shorts than the ones you've got, I think. It's not enough, is it - and KJ Charles says "never say never", but she's not planning to write any more there - waaah!

Wordery does have all the books - that's where I got mine from - but they come up oddly on the website, and I've had to search each time. And yes! Free postage! That's why I thought of you! They also try to be a few pence cheaper than Amazon/Bookdepository, and I reckon it all adds up. *g* I'll email!

That must have been a great feeling for one, one of coming home, after living in so many places over the last few years. But, of what I've seen, it does seem to have a homey look to it. I'm glad you've finally found your place. :-)

So glad you've bought the Magpie books - I really really hope you like them!

And yeah, it is nice to think that I finally have a place with (almost all!) of my stuff in it - a centre that's me... Travelling and moving is fun too, and I don't want to be done with that, but I like the idea of a centre to work from, again!
