absolutely loving these photos! watched your photo stream while enjoying my darjeeling tea (how apropos!) and got a vivid sense that i was on the train with you (esp. the photo with the kid under the blanket by the window :)).
there are a few of these toy trains, right? or was the train scene from the most recent parineeta also set in this same toy train?
The other famous toy train, the one in Parineeta (and a bunch of other bolly movies) is the one in Darjeeling. I hear the Darjeeling toy train is more romantic. I guess they are sandardizing to meter gague right now? There used to be a small gague railroad from Hampi to Bijapur and up to Poona I think? now its being changed over to standard, that wasn't a toy train though. Fun times!
