Summary: Frank has been an outcast ever since he started high-school. No matter how many times he tried to make friends he was laughed at and told to get lost. When a piece of paper is slipped into his locker, he expects it to be another threat, but finds it to be something totally unexpected, something that would change is life forever. Instructions to
The Doll Shop.

Frank timidly slipped through the curtain. Eyes casting around, Frank tried to take in everything, commit it all to memory. A few candle holders stood in the corners, the flames of the few melting candles caused shadows to dance on the walls. A curtained doorway was situated in the corner, leading to, who knew where.

The owner turned to face him, claiming his attention.

“There are a few things I have to inform you about your Doll before I relinquish him to you.”

Frank’s eyes flickered to the curtain before falling to rest on the shop owner once again.

“Him?”

She nodded.

“Yes Frank, Him,” Frank nodded absent mindedly before turning his attention back to the curtain. Something kept drawing his attention to it.

“Your Doll, like every other doll, is identical in everyway to a normal human being. He eats, he sleeps, he even dreams. So there is absolutely NO excuse for treating him differently,” Frank’s eyes flashed dangerously. The owner raised her hands in a sign of supplication.

“I have to say this Frank, I’m not saying that you would treat him any differently, this is just a warning. So I am warning you now, if you do treat him differently, if you hurt him in anyway, I will personally come and collect him from you. And you will never see, nor talk to him ever again, nor will you ever be able to return here. Do you understand me?”

Frank’s eyes flickered to meet hers. Hostility radiated off her in waves, but underneath, Frank could feel her concern.

“You really care about these Dolls don’t you?”

She flinched.

“They may be Dolls to you Frank, but to me, they are my children.”
Her eyes searched his.
“Do you understand me? Will you treat him well?”

Without hesitation Frank nodded.

The Shop owner sighed visibly.

“Good, now, Follow me.”
She turned quickly and swept through the curtain that had held Frank’s attention for most of the time she was talking to him.

Frank shook his head, why were there so many curtains in this place?

Stepping through the curtain, Frank found himself in another dimly lit room.
Talk about dramatic.

Frank frantically looked around for the shop owner, not really wanting to be left alone in this place. Those Dolls really did freak him out.
He sighed in relief when his frantic eyes settled on her back.

“Are you coming in to meet him Frank, or are you just going to stand there?”

Frank hastily walked over to stand next to the tall woman.

“Frank Iero I would like to present to you, your Doll, Gerard Way.”

Frank glanced at the Doll standing in front of him.

The first thing that came to mind was “Sex on Legs,” before he hastily mentally slapped himself and told himself to pay attention.

He turned fully to actually look at the Doll, and his breathe caught in his throat.
Shoulder length black hair framed a pale face.
Dark eyelashes made a stark comparison on his cheeks.
A black suit, black shirt and red tie, made him look even paler (if that was possible), and hid what Frank so eagerly wanted to see, to run his hands over.
Peeking out from the cuffs of his blazer pale hands hung at his sides, hands that looked like they belonged to an artist. Frank shuddered despite himself.
This Doll was just down right gorgeous.
Glancing at his face again, Frank took in everything. The way his lips turned slightly down at the edges, the way the Doll’s chest rose and fell with each breathe.
He just couldn’t get enough of looking at him. He felt like he could spend hours, just staring at this…this, boy.

Frank reluctantly dragged his eyes away from the boy and looked at the shop owner.

“He’s beautiful.” He whispered.

She smiled.

“Isn’t he just?”
