Least Favorite Icons 08 - The text is very hard to read, maybe because it's too small. Also, the subject is a little unclear, a little sharpening would help it a lot. 05 - The subject is very unclear. I think it's a dancer but the subject is very blurry and doesn't stand out from the background enough.
Favorite Icon 01 - I think that the use of the texture and text really makes the icon more interesting. I helps lead your eyes throughout the icon instead of focusing on just the people in the center. 06 - I really like the crop on this icon. It's very unique and interesting. It's also very clear and sharp.
Least Favorite Icons #5 - I know this is supposed to be a dancer, but I can't tell what part of the dancer it is (legs, arms, etc.). I think this is because of the crop (the center crop is uninteresting) and the contrast (it could use more), which both could have been better. #12 - The icon is too dark. The dancer fades into the background, there should have been more contrast. Also, it looks a too blurry (I know the dancer is in motion, but it just looks like one big blur).
Favorite Icon #1 - Great use of text and texture for the background. #3 - The close crop looks really nice and the contrast was done well.
