All in all, I'm happy you talked me into the concert :) Just for the crack, and the Jakub, and the fact that it meant I also caught the vampire crack on Sunday, finally.
I just cut out the four above, so if you could toss the tracked audio my way, it would be appreciated ^^;
Thankee for the mail :) And third time's supposed to be the charm - dunno if it works on rain. Thus far, it looks like I left my phone charger in Oberhausen, just had to buy a new one ^^;
Mind you, I would have cut about a third off the concert and replaced it with more Jan and Kevin (and Jakub and Riccardo and Neele-Liis and Florian, I'll give them that ;)). It was a bit like going to a dinner show that ends up to be just underclassmen performing - not that they aren't adorable, but they're not what you paid for...
Oh that sounds like it was an AWESOME show!!! I was lucky enough to see Jan sing Krolock on a recent trip to Germany - my friends treated me to the show as a belated birthday present! - oh my god, no recording of that man does him justice!
I can only imagine what a sight the men must have been in all their feathers and high heels! I've seen some images of Kevin Hudson and Michel Driesse getting up to no good in various frocks and make-up and I've seen some old photos of Ross McDermott from a production of The Birdcage... The mental image of that on mass is VERY entertaining! Thank you for the audios too!
Jan has that voice that just pins you to your seat :) First time I saw him, I had no idea what I was getting into (Beauty and the Beast in Berlin, surprise cast change), and I got out of the theatre and immediately got back in to buy tickets for the next day.
I'd heard a bit of Jan singing in various bootlegs and some official recordings before seeing him on stage. I already liked his voice from what little I'd heard, but by the end of the show I had tears rolling down my face!
