Andrew Lloyd Webber will return to the BBC for another reality TV program to cast the lead in a West End musical production - this time to search for a Dorothy and Toto for a new stage version of The Wizard of Oz that he will also produce.

I didn't think this was happening due the Phantom sequel?

he called it off for this year because he was too busy with Phantom 2, but then that ended up being postponed anyway. It was pencilled in for next Spring but now with Phantom scheduled to open at the same time the BBC asked ALW to avoid excessive self publicity, to which he threw a bit of a hissy fit and threatened to go to ITV. However his rights for the stage show expire soon so he's changed his mind again *shrug*

It was never officially called off, was it? They just stopped production temporarily but they said the show was going ahead as planned, unless I missed something.
