*hug* Thank you ; ;
He'll be fine though, so I'm happy. And yes, Queen's is wonderful. I'm so excited to go ^^ It felt surreal. When I was there, I couldn't believe that I'd actually be living there.

I would tell you, but I use an ingredient that I don't even know what it's called, and we have special spoons for our stuff, so I couldn't give you accurate measurements. D:

Wow - I was just about to pop open the comment window and be all happy for you, and then I read the bit about your dad. I guess it's a blessing that it was discovered early enough, though :) Don't blame yourself for it! Seriously - there is no room for self pity right now. Even if you wanted to, you couldn't have been the cause of it. Blood clots take YEARS to build up. Besides, any parent would give his first born to have you as his second born!

About Queen's:
Sounds awesome. Room mates = yurgh. Flat mates = the shizzle.
I can't tell you how happy you'll be to have a room of your own as opposed to a shared room. You can listen to music, you can stay up, you can sleep in, you can keep it nice and messy...
Having said that - if you think that walking long walks in WINTER is bad... wait till summer. Seriously, the only regrets I have about my dorms are the summer heat morning walks I do to my classes. I can deal with winter. I like walking in rain.

He's home now. He was released today :] They did a billion more tests on him and they all turned out to be fine. We think the original ECG was faulty or something, but he's still on meds to keep him healthy. ^^ I feel a lot better now. It was a weird feeling, realizing how fast life can change ( ... )

I just kind of skimmed this because it's kind of long... u__u But! Does your school have some kind of bus system? I think most schools do (at least in the US..), especially if the buildings are far apart or the campus is really big, so you might not have to walk all the way from your dorm? I would always park by my first class at my school, then walk to each class, and by the end of the day I would be completely across campus, so I would take the school's shuttle back to my car. It was pretty helpful because I am a lazy bum. I'm sure you will find out though... We get to start a new school together! Hurray for school! ^_____^

Yeah I didn't expect most people to read the whole thing. XD
Yay for school!! I'm pumped :D ARE YOU PUMPED!?

I think my school does have a shuttle bus that goes from West to Main campus. I just gotta flash my student card. But it's still one more step to get to all the goodies on main campus (ie: yummy eateries XD)
