heyo mariea! i know you hate the cold SOOO much lol which is a pity cos i swear the cooler places are all UP NORTH. lol..how about san francisco? can kari find a job there? i have to say i'd hate to live in the south of america....they're just soo conservative..ok i know i was only in florida..but if florida was bad i can imagine what the rest is like.
and i think the reason why the cost of living is more expensive in those little islands...is prolly cos it costs so much to bring any sort of produce across to those islands...hence it's expensive....i know that was the case for norfolk island...everything's expensive there too. and i don't know how good it'd be to be living in one of those islands considering they tend to be very conservative rednecky places run by the local hoodlums....but then again this is all i know from norfolk so don't listen to me too much ;)
anyways i of course LOVE boston...the cold is sooooo great :)

san francisco is in california which tends to be expensive and full of earthquakes and landslides. it is very good with gay rights though. they also tend to have good schools too apparently.
as for the islands, well, the cost of living on Saipan in the Northern Marianas isn't too bad, but Guam is very expensive. You're probably right about why it's so expensive. Norfolk is a bit different to those islands though. The Northern Marianas and Guam are populated mostly by Micronesians and Asians, whereas Norfolk is mostly white people I think. Melissa grew up there and yes, they are quite rednecky over there from what I gathered. Not sure about how rednecky they are in Micronesia though.
I'm taking care and I'll get well, where should we meet in LA? Somewhere in the airport?
