Hmm... So, you saw it this weekend. Very interesting. I saw that you hotlinked my image and decided to check out your post.

I just googled "walking penis" and found it. I hope you don't mind. If I knew what he was promoting (a little more detail than the obvious) I'd link to the official whatever.

Nah, it's ok. I do mind when ppl use my pics on heavy-traffic sites, hene I have a hot-link block. But I leave it open for lj-users.

This pic was taken during GayPride parade in SF. I have no idea if this guy had any agenda whatsoever.

i would rather talk to my son about boners. i just had the fun of discussing periods.

YEah - boners are way more fun than bleeding for 5 days and not dying from it - WHAT'S UP WITH THAT?!?!

Hey - I desperately need you to make me a powernoise comp. I can offer drinks, jokes or early/obscure punk in return.

God, you know, this is commonreader's pet peeve. Like, just because you don't want to have seven foot tall walking penises around your kids, doesn't mean you're a bigotted anti-sex, anti-rights person. /rant

Werd. I just got back from Convergence and I was mortified at the lack of discretion displayed by people old enough to know better but just too wrapped up in themselves to have a care for those around them. For instance, yelling "Hey! Come here and fuck me!" at the top of your lungs across the hotel courtyard while there are families with kids playing in the pool is not cool. Just keep it in your own room for cryin' out loud! It's not prudishness, it's common consideration for those around you.

:-) Thanks.

That "too wrapped up" thing. I've been thinking/talking about it recently and I don't think it stops with stuff like that, it seems like in contemporary times people are getting kind of oblvious to others, for whatever reason. They're still compassionate when actually faced with hardships or suffering, for instance many, many people donated to tsunami releif and before that 9/11 relief. It's just that people are kind of less aware of the world around them, physically, in space, anymore. Too much tv, internet, cell phones? Who knows?
