I love this line! I can really see Jack saying/feeling that way. I just hope he gives Ianto an inkling about his immortality and needing to find the Doctor before the whole opening the rift/Abbadon thing. Otherwise, he'll be the one testing Ianto's strength.

Thanks! I was so hoping that line would work - it seemed a little convoluted, but I just loved the sentiment, it is SO Jack. *sigh* Love him! :)

Yeah, I'm not sure how much more Jack is going to spill before Abbadon...haven't gotten that far yet! *bites nails* *runs off to write*

I do not know how I missed this fic before.
When I saw today's post, I went back and read from the beginning.
This is really on of the best fics I have read. I really like your
characterizations of both Jack and Ianto.
And this particular arc, fitting a Jack and Ianto story in while Gwen is off with Eugene, is just brilliant. And it is a wonderful explanation of how Ianto found out about Flatholm.

Eagerly awaiting more.
