Finally.  Having Wednesday off really messed all of us up.  We did have a nice Fourth.  My sister and nephew came up to visit with my parents.  Hung out at the lake and even got my Mom into the water. Dad stayed up on the beach.  Kids had fun jumping off the dock and being thrown into the water by Jeff.  Dinner was a simple meal of grilled chicken

Looks like you all had an awesome 4th -- that drip cake did look pretty darned yummy though I can imagine it was pretty sweet! ;)

I hope the kids have a great time at camp and that you don't miss or worry about 'em too much. I know it has taken me at least a day or so to settle down and feel comfortable when Shawn has been gone for a week.

Good luck with the whole book proposal and all that goes along with that -- it's so exciting! ^_^

So far so good. Got two pictures texted to me today and they were both smiling! Haven't heard anything yet on the book proposal. I hate waiting. Stay cool!
