It's FRIDAY!
Finally. Having Wednesday off really messed all of us up. We did have a nice Fourth. My sister and nephew came up to visit with my parents. Hung out at the lake and even got my Mom into the water. Dad stayed up on the beach. Kids had fun jumping off the dock and being thrown into the water by Jeff. Dinner was a simple meal of grilled chicken breasts, tricolor potato salad, corn on the cob, zucchini ribbon salad and mashed avocados. Dessert was the poke cake. That looked adorable but OMG was it sweet! I never thought about the sweetness of the jello that you add. Oh well, the kids loved it.
Hannah and Peter are leaving Sunday for sleep away camp for a week. Haven't packed a thing. That's what Saturday is for! They don't need much. Clothes, bedding, towel. Toiletries, goggles, water shoes, and their stuffed animals. Easy!
It has been very stressful with the Board of Ed for the Temple. I think we have things to a point now where the stress should level out but these last two weeks were tough. Conference calls, meetings, emails. It was a lot.
Just about an hour ago, my friend CL submitted our book proposal to the series editors. WOW. What a relief it is having the proposal sent off. We were up until all hours of the night the last few nights tweaking it all. Now we wait. I hate waiting.
2012 - 2013 is shaping up to be a busy year.

- Embroider and sew Hannah's tallit (need to buy a sewing machine. Thankfully it is mostly straight seams but I will need some help, haven't sewn on a machine since I was in 7th grade!)
