I can't imagine why I'm reading this. I usually find characters-travel-in-time! fics (and stories) to be awful and unbearable. Yet? You're using the situation to develop otherwise impossible characterizations and relationships, and there, that's why I'm reading this. Because you've taken this beyond the "heehee, let's laugh at their reactions!" and are digging at whom the characters are.

Thank you! The reason that I'm writing SW fic in the first place is because the characters have really captured my imagination. I think that they're quite interesting on both the personal and epic levels.

It's telling, so telling, that Anakin wants to not kill people in the future, but he NEVER considers not having Leia&Luke-- even after he acknowledges that it was a stupid and careless thing for him to have done.

It says quite a bit about him.

The way you portrayed Anakin's foreboding possessiveness, along with Obi-Wan and Anakin's banter was both depressing and amusing, as I want to pat Anakin on the head and tell him to listen to OW for once. I can't wait for the next part.

And yes, I often have the twin desires to hug Anakin and then lightly smack him upside the head. Love him, but he's very frustrating.

I honestly want a happy ending for this fic, but the more I read the more I see the Anakin that fell to the Darkside. It is not that Anakin isn't good it is just that Anakin is possessive, and want all everything. He doesn't want to kill the Jedi, he want to have children, he wants Obi-Wan as his master and no one else's, and he want Padme as his wife. He wants everything, control eveything, and oh Anakin, you should know better.

He wants it all, exactly. Anakin doesn't want to have to choose between anything he wants.

Dang. First you dig so well into Obi-Wan's mind, and then you dig so beautifully into Anakin's. I think that you understand these two characters and write them so well in a fic in a way that I have never quite seen. I continue to be amazed and stunned by your revelations of the characters.

Thank you! I find Anakin an absolutely fascinating character and I really enjoy writing him. He goes so wrong, but even there, he does make sense, from his point of view.
