 I got the job!  So here are some facts.

10 months in San Pedro Sula, Honduras.

Average temperature throughout the year is 90 degrees and high humidity.

Living in a house with other volunteers.  We all get our own room and bathroom. ;)

I'm not grown up enough for this stuff.

I worked Easter Sunday yesterday.  We had over 1000 reservations.  I was so nervous I could barely sleep the night before as this was my first holiday serving and not hosting.  And I got royally screwed.  Usually people walk away from working holidays with 300-400.  I made 150.  I got a crap station and I was on a team.  My bus boy was drunk and my ( Read more... )

So, I just auditioned for my first show outside of academia.  Went well.  If cast, I should get a call in the next day or so-no big if I do or don't.

Wasn't as hard as I thought.  I need to get an agent or something and really do this.

We broke up.  Wow.  That was fast.  And he kind of turned out to be a bit of an ass hole.

Feeling nostalgic, lonely, frustrated, jaded but hopeful.
