I've just been reading my entries about mum's cancer etc.

She passed away in February. The doctor had given her some antibiotics for a cough a few months before, but it turned out that the cancer had spread to her lungs. And her liver. And her bowels. She died within a month of being told it was terminal. She died less than 2 weeks after being told ( Read more... )

You currently have a permanent (and relatively safe), full time job which you hate. You've tried looking for a full time position in an area you'd like, but to no avail. Do you stick with the crap job you currently have, or aim for temp work in an area you believe you'd enjoy and could carve out a career in?

I'm scared that I'm wasting my life and when I'm on my death bed I'll regret my choices.

My mum is refusing surgery for her cancer. The doctors are urging her to go ahead but she doesn't want to. They haven't told her how long she'll have left but it isn't long enough.

I'm in pieces, I don't know what to do.

I had baked onion stuffed with pesto and turkey ham for tea. It was so good!

We've been thinking about how we're going to decorate the rest of the house and whatnot lately. There are loads of ideas buzzing around my head. It seems ideal for us to put the computers in with the tv so that we aren't apart all the time and the second bedroom seems appropriate for this.
