In the spirit of full disclosure which seems to have overtaken us all, my full name is Romanadvoratrelundar, Romana for short. I hail from a world known as Gallifrey; my people are known as the Time Lords.

While I cannot stay here, I am not entirely certain where I should go. [Small pause.] Due to circumstances I am afraid I cannot divulge, going ( Read more... )

Come to our world, Romana! My world! If you cannot stay here then you would be very welcome to join us!

A tempting offer, but I must speak to the Doctor--Key--first. He may wish me to travel with him again for a time.

But I will be sure to stop by your world, Gai. If you could help me find it on a star map, that may make things a bit easier.

I can mark constellations out, but I have no idea where it would be on a star map. A great many people have [pentaps] a great deal more technology than my world. Space is not something that we have looked at really, or gone to.

Then we shall have to think of what we can do.

[Pen taps.]

This would be easier if I could go to your world, you know. But without some assurance that I can return from there, I am not certain what to do.

... I think I'll just stick to calling you Fred.

Awfully nice to have that kind of technology at your fingertips, though.

I will, of course, answer to it.

Well, it may be bending a few rules to use it so frivolously, but I don't think anyone will mind too terribly much. As long as I am careful.

Of course, of course. I know a few things about bending the rules myself.

That does not surprise me in the slightest.

Wait what happened to Gallifrey? What I wouldn't give for my Doctor Who dvds.

You should come visit us! Come on it'll be great! No more worries about things trying to kill us, just us and the lights of New York City!

DV--I beg your pardon?

[That 'circumstances I can't divulge' bit is worrisome. His first thought is that she died, the second that something happened to that planet she was so fond of--but if she says she can't divulge it, there's probably little sense in wondering over the hypotheticals.]

So, bouncing around the time space continuum is all part and parcel of this Time Lord thing? Sounds pretty impressive. With that sort of technology at your fingertips, I'm sure you'll find some place to suit your needs. Possibly several places.

Yes, precisely. And I was hoping to travel with Key, actually. It's been some time, from my perspective, since I had the opportunity to do so. I would be beyond foolish if I passed up this second chance of sorts.

Oh? Well, you crazy kids have fun. I'd tell you not to get lost in the sands of time, but it's pretty obvious you'd know more about that than I would.

As it happens, getting lost seems to be one of the Doctor's specialties, though I imagine he'd vehemently disagree. He always manages to get himself un-lost in the end, so I suppose that's all right.

It will be nice traveling with him again, actually. It has been a very long time since I was able to do so.

You have meant a great deal to me too.

Do you want me to take care of Aven?

You as well, 00, though I am afraid I did not always say as much.

No, I was going to take him with me, if at all possible. I already told Gai and Bell that I would take their three dogs; what is one more?

Your actions said it.

He won't be lonely, then. That's good.

And you? What will you do, now that we are all going our various ways? Will you remain here, in what is left of this place, or will you try to regain your home?
