While I cannot stay here, I am not entirely certain where I should go. [Small pause.] Due to circumstances I am afraid I cannot divulge, going ( Read more... )

Come to our world, Romana! My world! If you cannot stay here then you would be very welcome to join us!

A tempting offer, but I must speak to the Doctor--Key--first. He may wish me to travel with him again for a time.

But I will be sure to stop by your world, Gai. If you could help me find it on a star map, that may make things a bit easier.

I can mark constellations out, but I have no idea where it would be on a star map. A great many people have [pentaps] a great deal more technology than my world. Space is not something that we have looked at really, or gone to.

Then we shall have to think of what we can do.

[Pen taps.]

This would be easier if I could go to your world, you know. But without some assurance that I can return from there, I am not certain what to do.

I have a fairly good memory of where our constellations are, though! We must navigate by the stars sometimes! But if that is not enough then you should come and we will find a way to get you back, I am sure!

Yes, that might help. And [pen taps]

Perhaps. I would prefer not to take that chance just yet, however. I would prefer trying the first option before we attempt that.

I will draw them out, then.

And I understand wanting to find options first. We will figure out the puzzles of the different worlds!

Thank you.

Do try not to get lost in the attempt, won't you? I do hate when that happens.

You are welcome!

I do not think I get lost often at all. No. I know I do not get lost often at all.

Leave a trail of bread crumbs. I would hate to have to come after you. [She's teasing him.]

A trail of bread crumbs would probably be eaten, or carried away by ants, or blown away by the breeze.

Of course, you are right. But more seriously, do try to find a way to make sure you come back here.

I shall not just try, I shall find it!

Would that even work in an alternate universe?

Perhaps not, but it is worth an attempt.
