At least not in the sense that matters. I remember writing the writers asking for some explanation (why in the pilot Chuck talked about his mother like she was alive ("my mother's Valium") and then afterwards said she was dead) so I guess I sort of contributed to the end product of that storyline :S

Pilot is easier to figure out. MONTHS before the show aired. And Chuck wasn't supposed to be a main character. Plus, in the books, he has both parents. Married and I believe a younger brother.

But I guess the writers felt we needed to be a soap opera and pulled out the NOT DEAD card. *yawn*

This was amusing to read. I wouldn't be surprised that Chuck would let Blair, do this so she could have her fun in the only way, she knew how--by ordering people around and also yelling at them.

Really enjoyed this story, a lot.
