This was really great to read. Even though, it was slighly sad.

However, I could really imagine this happening. Because it wouldn't be surprising if Blair would turn to Nate again; seeing as how, with him--she's convinced that everything could be easier...simpler...safer.
Something Blair knew that her relationship with Chuck could never be.

And because of that Blair could easily convince herself that she'd be better off with Nate, in the long run. Yet, deep-down Blair will always know for a fact that her will always belong to someone else. And because of that Blair will never be truly happy; therefore, forced to live in a lie of her own making.

Enjoyed it, a lot.

I kind of have soft spot for Blair & Nate. Things were so much more simpler for them (at least compared to Chuck and Blair's relationship). But like you said, her heart will always be somewhere else.

I love that Nate's her Knight. Saved her at 5 and graduation works, too. But bittersweet ending, for Blair-Bear. *hugs*
