Oh, I love your Edmund. He's so frighteningly competent and controlled.

All to be summed up by 'I know, you had it sorted' in the film and his goading of Miraz in book and film. Oh yes.

"Wait until you see my brother" was right! Oh, the Pevensie boys and modern armies are such a fascinating mix!

Why do more people not write it? WHY?

Peter : 'I may be a frightening berserker, but at least I didn't run the spy network.'

Wow! This is a fabulous take on Edmund. I really like the 'outsider' POV. Thanks for sharing.

phew, it worked - I always get a bit scared that outsider POV becomes too much Tell not Show. even though I have such a weakness for it.

LJ just ate my comment, damn it. *glares*

*This* is the competent little bugger we all know and love, all right. I went "squee" and "bwahaha!" in equal measure.

I like the difficulty of blackmailing someone who's not ashamed and whose friends/family already know; and I like the avoidance of the treason question (because if it was in the country's own interests...*shifty eyes*)

It's interesting to realize that no, they *wouldn't* know anything about handling guns. They were too young before Narnia and didn't have them there. But I bet they learned fast.

Now, hopefully, the boys will get to team up. :)

I saw him first. get your own sneaky little bastard Pevensie.

Yeah. If you've been open about it from the start they can't do anything.

treason? what? :whistles innocently:

'....Pevensie just failed a test. We're really not sure how.'

I know nothing of any team-up. Nothing.
