Can someone recommend an online service for trading stock? I think I used eTrade back at my last job, but it was all via the corporate account so fees might be wildly different....
Jen uses Ameritrade. She used to also use eTrade, but apparently a few years ago Ameritrade began offering all the same features and information that eTrade did and still has lower commissions. (I haven't looked at *any* brokerages, online or not, since the early 90s, so I'm just passing along hearsay here and I have no actual opinion about these services myself....)
Ummm... I use eqonline.fi but it is rather expensive if you want to do stock exchange on soemwhere else that OMHEX i.e. in finnish or swedish stock markets. Their text based version is translated to english also, so you can use it with your Nokia Communicator. Maybe not what you were looking for, but hey. Foreign stock markets are much more challenging. :)
Heh. My American money won't buy me much in Euros, but it occurs to me that if the Euro keeps gaining in value, even $1000USD now could pay off nicely... trading foreign, though, I suspect there's an assload of trouble and paperwork to go with it, and probably pretty far above my head!
